ELC Announces Support for UN Global LGBTI Standards of Conduct for Business

As a global company with a longstanding commitment to inclusion and diversity, The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) is proud to announce its support of the UN Global LGBTI Standards of Conduct for Business, the UN Human Rights Office’s five standards of conduct to support the business community in confronting discrimination of lesbian, gay, bi, trans and intersex (LGBTI) people.

Companies have important opportunities to foster diversity and promote a culture of respect and equality in the workplace, in the marketplace and in the communities where we work,” said Marilu Marshall, Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer at ELC.  “We are steadfast in our support of the UN Standards of Conduct for Business, a thoughtful framework to tackle discrimination.”
