The Estée Lauder Companies Appoints Nicky de Simone to Regional Director, Enterprise Marketing & Transformation, UK & Ireland

The Estée Lauder Companies is pleased to announce that Nicky de Simone has been appointed to Regional Director, Enterprise Marketing & Transformation, UK & Ireland, effective immediately. She will continue to report to Sue Fox, Senior Vice President, UK & Ireland, and will also report to Jane Lauder, Executive Vice President, Enterprise Marketing and Chief Data Officer. Nicky succeeds Lesley Crowther who was recently appointed Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, La Mer.
Nicky will lead the UK & Ireland Region Enterprise Marketing (formerly, Consumer Engagement) strategy to be first movers in social commerce and omni innovation, strengthening data-empowered, digitally-directed breakthrough marketing, insights and creative. Nicky will optimise the company’s analytic capabilities, ensuring cross-channel data is available to unlock personalised marketing and true omni-channel activation. Nicky also will continue to lead the Transformation Office, providing end-to-end execution of key initiatives, spearheading the Regional Strategy for the UK & Ireland as well as all transformation, project and change management initiatives and new Brand integrations. In addition, Nicky will remain the UK & Ireland’s Executive Sponsor for the CEO’s Reverse Mentor Programme.
Since joining the Company over eight years ago, Nicky has worked in numerous roles, including in the Office of the Chief of Staff to the CEO and President in New York, and partnered with senior leaders globally to support various strategic initiatives. Having joined the UK & Ireland in 2017, Nicky re-launched the BECCA brand in the Region, leading the brand’s first international department store model. In addition, in 2018 Nicky was promoted to Chief of Staff, UK & Ireland. Nicky has played an instrumental role in the leadership team, working on strategy and implementation, global initiative alignment, critical operational effectiveness and CEO market visits. In her most recent position as Chief of Staff, Strategy & Transformation, UK & Ireland, Nicky led the Transformation Office to drive the operationalisation of strategy across the Region, as well as closely aligning with the Global approach to Transformation and Corporate Strategy.
