Rachel Baker appointed VP/GM of Jo Malone London for UK & Ireland Region

London -- The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) UK & Ireland has announced that Rachel Baker has been appointed to the role of Vice President General Manager of Jo Malone London UK & Ireland.

Currently VP GM of Clinique, Dr Jart+ and Lab Series, Rachel has over 30 years of employment with The Estée Lauder companies, starting her journey as a Clinique consultant and advancing through a series of increasingly senior roles across the portfolio including Clinique, Estée Lauder, Tom Ford Beauty, Dr Jart+ and Lab Series. Rachel Baker will assume the role of VPGM Jo Malone London UK & Ireland from 1st March 2023 and continue to report directly into Sue Fox, President of UK&I.

“With her strategic ability and commercial acumen, Rachel has achieved a consistent track record in delivering profitable brand growth and operational excellence in all channels of distribution.

Rachel’s passion and strength is the leadership of her teams, especially in people development and shaping future leaders for ELC. She was fundamental in co-launching the UK&I Mental Health and Wellness Employee Resource Group and is a strong advocate for employee wellbeing,” said Sue Fox.

This will be Rachel’s second stint at the helm of Jo Malone London, having led the brand in the Region from 2017-2019. Rachel’s appointment follows Melissa Mullen’s decision to step down from her role as Vice President General Manager of Jo Malone London UK & Ireland to spend more time with her family and pursue other passions.

Melissa joined ELC 2019 with over 20 years’ experience across retail including the Aurora Fashion Group, Marks & Spencer and most recently Nike.

“In her time at Jo Malone London, Melissa has been a passionate supporter of Jo Malone London’s social investments, serving on the board of NSPCC, overseeing the brand’s partnership with Black Minds Matter and acting as the brand voice for the Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability governance.”
