Akhil Shrivastava is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC), overseeing the company’s Global Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, and New Business Development organizations. Recognized for his strategic leadership, Mr. Shrivastava drives ELC’s financial strategy, prioritizing sustainable value creation, innovation, agility, and consumer-centric outcomes.
With over 25 years of experience in financial leadership, Mr. Shrivastava has driven global financial operations and transformative initiatives for several luxury brands. And since joining ELC in 2015, he has held many pivotal roles. Most recently, as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller, Mr. Shrivastava was responsible for Corporate Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and the Operational Excellence pillar of ELC’s multi-year Profit Recovery and Growth Plan.
Mr. Shrivastava has also held senior leadership positions, including ELC’s Treasurer, and led global finance and strategy for a brand portfolio including Estée Lauder, La Mer, and Aveda. His strategic insights facilitated the identification of and investment behind growth opportunities across categories, geographies, and channels.
Prior to joining ELC, Mr. Shrivastava spent 18 years at Procter & Gamble, where he held various global finance and leadership roles, including Finance Director for Gillette North America.
Mr. Shrivastava holds a Master of Finance and Control from Delhi University and a degree in engineering from Rewa Engineering College. He has lived and worked in India, Thailand, Singapore, and the United States, where he is currently based.
